(Lead Commercial Advisor - 9 months - hybrid - 650-775pday Umbrella)

Our client is seeking an experienced Legacy lead Commercial Advisor to work on a hybrid basis based in either their London, Manchester or Bristol office on a flexible arrangement.

You will be required to develop an understanding of the strategic outcomes the team is working towards. Be a credible SME in the commercial profession and lead the debate on how your specialism needs to be applied and developed in the context of addressing the public sectors Legacy IT challenge. Demonstrate an understanding of the complexity of government and potential blockers to delivering excellent services.

Experience required:

Deep domain expertise including (but not limited to):

Knowledge of existing commercial frameworks including how they are created.

An understanding of the key suppliers working in the technology sector across the UK public sector.

Experience writing procurement strategies or policy documentation

The ability to develop innovative commercial proposals and consider new ways of contracting.

Deep industry relevance including (but not limited to):Understanding who the major suppliers to the UK public sector are for digital services.

Experience working with significant public sector suppliers including what common challenges there are

Functional requirements and process design/optimization using more than one leading Automation tools (eg, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) Advanced automation technologies including BPM/case management, Machine learning, etc.

Designing and implementing at least 3 projects in business process management and automation

Work effectively in a multidisciplinary, agile environment and can deliver iteratively

Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders within and across teams and Organisational boundaries

Have knowledge about the wider digital economy, advances in technology and the costs and benefits of different technology choices

Know how to lead on the strategy for a whole organisation, represent their team, programme or department across government and create an inclusive, productive environmentCan plan strategically for the future and can communicate effectively with senior leaders to influence future strategies

Work in an accessible, equitable and user-centred way, understanding the wider social context of their work, and making clear, practical and manageable plans for deliverycan work collaboratively with other teams, professions and organisations, and can build strong interpersonal relationships, actively maintaining networks of colleagues to achieve progress on shared objectives
