Technical Architect (SC Cleared, Azure, AD, SQL Server) -Milton Keynes- 6 Month Contract

Day Rate: £640 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: On-site presence is required 3 days per week in rural Milton Keynes. Easily commutable from: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Luton, Aylesbury, Banbury, Oxford, Bicester, Buckingham, Towcester, Leighton Buzzard, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe.

Security Clearance: SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Security Cleared required. SC clearance to be in place before the role commences. Applicants must be eligible to undergo clearance if not already held (British nationals, resident in the UK for at least 2 of the past 5 years).

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join a major government programme delivering and managing critical national security capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that help safeguard the nation.

You will collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and developers to design secure solutions, provide technical governance, and maintain key relationships within government. Your expertise will ensure compliance with security standards and deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Work within an ITIL environment to ensure service excellence

Collaborate with engineers and developers to improve software solutions

Provide technical input and governance across multiple projects

Essential Experience

Strong background in customer and stakeholder engagement

Experience working in ITIL environments

Proven ability to work with software vendors and engineering teams

Delivery of secure, scalable solutions
