VMWare Infrastructure Engineer - NSX - SC/DV Cleared - £610 inside IR35 - Hybrid
One of our government clients is looking for an experienced VMware Infrastructure Engineer to join them for a 6 month contract. They are offering £610 per day INSIDE IR35.
Our client is b ased near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. They are offering hybrid working, with 3 days per week onsite.
This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
During this role, you will use resources to support various tiered systems within the VMWare skills and technology space. You will support a wider team of skilled technicians supporting various Government platforms and services. You will support BAU and Project deliverables where required.
You will need to skilled in various Broadcom technologies which form part of the current platform, work alongside the current team, support various services, skills needed include familiarity with:
- ESXI
- HA configuration
- vCenter
- vSan
- VCF
- NSX
- VMware Aria
You will support existing services and as part of their role build in new services as part of project work. Familiarity with migrating to the Public Cloud or work experience in this space would be an advantage.
You will need to have suitable experience and depth of working knowledge in the relevant technologies.

- VCP-DCV - Essential
- VCAP - Desirable
- NSX - Essential
On-Call Element
A flat fee is payable for completing a 12 hour weekday shift (7pm - 7am) or 24 hour weekend or bank holiday shift (7.00am - 7.00am) whether the individual is called upon or not.
