SAP Archiving Architect
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end SAP Archiving life cycle across ECC and S/4HANA systems
- Design and implement archiving strategies aligned to business and compliance needs
- Hands-on execution using SARA, ADK, Archive Link and ILM
- Reduce database growth and improve system performance
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with Basis, Functional, Security and Audit stakeholders
- Define archiving standards, governance, and documentation
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to communicate complex archiving concepts in simple business terms.
- Calm and reliable during audits, incidents, and critical business cycles
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with hands-on expertise in GCP and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE, and AKS for container orchestration.
- Expertise in Landing Zone design and optimization for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Advanced skills in Terraform/Terraform Cloud for IaC and automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness).
- Proficiency in Python Scripting for automation.
- Understanding of policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Sentinel) and cloud governance.
- Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Kubernetes Certified.
- Proven experience in SAP Archiving (ECC & S/4HANA)
- Good knowledge of Open text archiving
- Good experience in SARA, ADK, Archive Link
- Strong SAP Basis knowledge
- Good experience in Data retention and compliance concepts
- Expertise in Large data volume management
