The Role

We are seeking a high‐performing Partner Manager to develop, manage, and grow SmarterPay’s strategic partner ecosystem. This is a relationship‐driven commercial role focused on onboarding new partners, nurturing existing partnerships, and driving partner‐sourced revenue.

Reporting to the Sales Leadership team, you’ll operate with full autonomy in a greenfield environment, giving you the freedom to shape processes, build a scalable partner programme, and directly influence revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure partners are fully enabled and aligned with SmarterPay’s go‐to‐market strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and develop new strategic partners to expand SmarterPay’s partner network
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners through regular meetings, calls, and joint planning sessions
  • Enable partners with training, sales support, and materials to help them confidently position and sell SmarterPay’s solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to execute joint campaigns and share partner insights
  • Track partner performance, manage partner‐sourced pipeline, and maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce
  • Deliver partner‐focused presentations, enablement sessions, and co‐selling activities
  • Attend partner events, industry exhibitions, and networking opportunities to represent SmarterPay and identify new partnership opportunities
  • Provide ongoing feedback to internal teams to support product development and market alignment

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in Partner Management, Account Management, or Customer Success
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‐management skills
  • Highly self‐motivated and comfortable working autonomously
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, or similar CRM/marketing tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of BACS, ERPs, or payment processes (preferred)
  • Background in Fintech or SaaS (preferred)
