This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to drive strategy, improve security, modernise infrastructure, and ensure the business has the technology foundations to support continued growth.
You'll be the go-to IT expert, working closely with senior leadership while managing a diverse technical environment across UK and US operations.

We're working with an innovative and rapidly expanding technology company looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and evolve their internal IT operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to drive strategy, improve security, modernise infrastructure, and ensure the business has the technology foundations to support continued growth.
You'll be the go-to IT expert, working closely with senior leadership while managing a diverse technical environment across UK and US operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning and developing the company's IT strategy, security policies, and best practices
- Managing and maintaining core infrastructure including Windows & Linux servers, networking, virtual environments, storage, and telecoms
- Ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all business systems
- Leading infrastructure projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers
- Overseeing an outsourced IT support partner and ensuring excellent service delivery
- Managing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
- Supporting business growth through scalable, future-proof technology solutions
- Building strong relationships across the business and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Proven experience in an IT Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or Senior Systems Administrator role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft server environments
- Experience supporting and administering Linux servers
- Excellent networking knowledge covering LAN, WAN, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, switches, and routers
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and virtualised infrastructure
- Strong understanding of IT security, governance, and risk management
- Ability to influence stakeholders and confidently communicate with senior leadership
- Experience evaluating and implementing technology solutions and managing third-party suppliers
- Cloud infrastructure and backup solutions experience
- Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint administration
- Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and DevOps tooling such as Jenkins or TeamCity
- Experience working across multiple sites or international offices
