Program Manager – Finance
Location: Greenford, London (Onsite – Work from Office)
Function: Operations / PMO
Reports to: General Manager – PMO
Role Overview
The Program Manager – Finance will lead the planning and delivery of finance-related programs and projects across a multi-entity organisation. This role is responsible for end-to-end project execution, coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and offshore implementation and support teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The role requires close collaboration with ERP consultants and finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support system implementations, integrations, and ongoing optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance project delivery from planning through post-implementation support
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria
- Manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Prepare and present clear project status updates to senior leadership
- Ensure alignment with financial controls, compliance standards, and governance frameworks
- Coordinate data migration, system integrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support change management and deliver training to end users
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, risk logs, and status reports
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience managing finance-related projects or programs
- Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and controls
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Asana)
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Unit4 Finance modules
- ERP implementation or upgrade experience
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance frameworks
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
