📍 London (Hybrid)

đź’Ľ Permanent | Full Time

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Network Designer to play a key role in the ground-up design and implementation of a next-generation Telco Management Environment, including the migration of existing telecom platforms to the public cloud.

You’ll work at the intersection of IP networking, cloud architecture, automation, and security, designing scalable, compliant, and production-ready solutions that support large-scale telecom services. This is a hands-on, design-led role with strong exposure to cloud networking, CI/CD automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end IP network architectures for applications migrating to the public cloud
  • Define cloud-based network migration patterns, leveraging Telco and AWS networking best practices
  • Translate business and technical requirements into high- and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) aligned with Telecom Security Act standards
  • Produce designs that support automation-first, CI/CD-driven deployment models
  • Convert manual network configurations into automated configuration templates
  • Validate and test network designs directly in public-cloud environments
  • Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to deliver network solutions across multiple cloud migration initiatives
  • Support stakeholder engagement across technology, infrastructure, and platform teams

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering end-to-end IP network solutions, with a strong focus on cloud environments (public, private, or hybrid)
  • Proven experience producing IP design documentation (HLD/LLD)
  • Strong track record of taking designs from concept through to production-ready implementation
  • Deep IP networking expertise across physical infrastructure and public cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with AWS networking, Cisco, and Palo Alto technologies
  • Experience designing telco networks using ISIS, MPLS-SR, MP-BGP, LDP, QoS, and network security controls
  • Working knowledge of Netconf/YANG and network automation concepts
  • An automation-focused mindset with the ability to design scalable, repeatable solutions

Team & Environment

You’ll join a high-impact Communications & Infrastructure function, working alongside specialists in broadband, telephony, mobile, cloud, and core infrastructure. The team designs, builds, and supports large-scale telecom networks that underpin digital services used by millions of customers.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary and generous pension scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • Discounts on TV, mobile, and broadband services
  • Access to exclusive rewards, experiences, and benefits programs
  • Hybrid working model combining office collaboration and home working
  • Modern office location in East London, close to major transport links

Inclusion & Working Style

We’re committed to building an inclusive, diverse, and supportive workplace where different perspectives are valued. Flexible and hybrid working are embedded into how teams operate, with details tailored per role.

If you’re a senior-level network designer who thrives in cloud-first, automation-driven environments and wants to shape the future of telecom infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you.
