Tech Lead - InsurTech 🚀

Are you looking to lead a high-impact engineering team in a fast-evolving SaaS environment? We've partnered with a leading InsurTech who're on the lookout for a Tech Lead to drive development of one of their core products used by insurers worldwide.

You’ll be part of a mission-driven, product-focused team modernising key platforms used across international markets.

📍London (1 day/week)

💰£120K + 10% Bonus

What you’ll do:

• Lead a squad of experienced engineers, guiding technical design and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture
• Own the architecture and evolution of a cloud-native engine built with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
• Drive DevOps best practices, CI/CD, and system reliability
• Collaborate with the Product team to shape and prioritise impactful roadmaps
• Mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and contribute to leadership across the wider tech org

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
• Deep expertise in Java and AWS-based scalable systems
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker & Terraform
• Excellent communicator and mentor who thrives in a product-led, agile environment
