Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Architecture, the Programme Manager provides the operational backbone of the Strategy, Architecture & Transformation capability.
This role is responsible for helping translate strategy into execution, ensuring that technology strategy activities, architecture capability development and transformation initiatives are effectively coordinated, tracked and aligned to business outcomes.
Working closely with the Head of Strategy & Architecture, Lead Enterprise Architect and Senior Solutions Architects, you will provide visibility, coordination and governance across the strategic agenda, helping to ensure priorities remain aligned, dependencies are understood and outcomes are delivered. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to help establish a new organisational capability, influence strategic decision making and play a pivotal role in Softcat's technology transformation journey.
As the Programme Manager, you'll be responsible for: Strategic Roadmap Delivery Portfolio Coordination Transformation Planning Governance & Reporting Risk & Dependency Management Outcome Tracking Stakeholder Engagement Architecture Practice Enablement We'd love you to have: Significant Programme, Portfolio or Transformation Management experience. Experience coordinating complex change initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Exceptional organisational and planning capabilities.
Experience creating executive-level reporting and communications. Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse workstreams. Strong commercial awareness and outcome-focused thinking. Highly pragmatic approach to balancing governance and delivery.
