Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Colchester for an Overnight Full-Stack Engineer (remote available). The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Daily tasks include writing clean and efficient code, optimising performance, debugging and troubleshooting, implementing scalable architectures, and collaborating with team members to deliver end-to-end software solutions. The engineer will also ensure adherence to best practices and stay updated with the latest technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development techniques
- Experience in Front-End Development, including designing interactive user interfaces
- Enterprise experience
- Proficient in Laravel
- Expertise in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end systems seamlessly
- Strong knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling and user experience optimisation
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks, tools, and version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with agile development methodology is a plus
