Software Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a well-funded, AI-native B2B SaaS startup backed by top-tier investors, building software that automates the manual overhead slowing down sales and marketing teams.
They're looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer (Snr / Staff) to build and own the backend systems powering their core AI agent feature.

What you'll be working on:
- Building the backend for the platform's AI agent feature.
- Developing and maintaining the core APIs.
- Designing how agents interact with core product data and broader platform systems.
- Owning backend architecture decisions.
The engineering team is structured in focused pods, each owning a core product areas. The AI team is responsible for the platform's AI agent feature used directly by customers, and a shared AI API that other engineering teams build on top of. The team is small, extremely technically strong and central to where the product is heading.
This role is well suited for Backend Software Engineers with B2B SaaS startup experience who want to work close to the product and have a clear impact on product success and adoption.
Base up to $200k USD, equity, fully remote (UK) and excellent benefits.
