Apprentice Admin System Support Officer

Undertake a range of clerical duties to support delivery of a first class customer focused service.
 
Provide support in administration, reconciliation, release upgrade testing and security access for NEC, Oracle AR, NEC DM, CIVICA Cash System IEG4, Paygate computer systems.

Role

Production of high quality, accurate work to agreed performance levels. Work is allocated on a weekly rota, this work should be completed within the specified timescales.

Assist with ensuring DWP Data Hub Uploads and Downloads are processed daily and in line with specified timescales.

Assist with the preparation of system schedules.

Assisting with the processing of critical business processes in line with predetermined schedules, timetables, and procedures.

Assist with the planning, testing and implementation of new systems and software (working out of office hours may be required on occasions for testing, live implementation and year end).

Assist in maintaining and reviewing system access and security.

Assist with business transformation projects.

Liaison (verbal and written) with the ICT division, system users and customers.

Assisting with system document design and set up.

Assisting with system reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate recording.

Assist with ensuring Council Tax, BID, Business Rates, Sundry Income & Housing Benefit suspense accounts are monitored, and payments are located and allocated on to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner and dealing with complex queries relating to these areas.

Assist with the update and amending of Service Support & Development procedures as required.

To identify personal training needs, undertake training and routinely update personal training plan.

Any other appropriate duties as and when required.

Training

Monthly workshops on site.

No permanent role guaranteed but you will be able to apply for internal roles on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
