Multiskilled Panel Technician Apprentice

Role

Duties include:
- Utilising the latest tools and technology to return vehicles back to factory standards after an accident.
- Using expert judgement to ascertain the best course of action in each individual case.
- Removing damaged panels or parts for repair.
- Smoothing out dents in panels.
- Using fillers to repair holes and dents.
- Making body panels and sections.
- Refinishing the repair to match surrounding areas.
Training

Our training is conducted in partnership with Thatcham Research. Thatcham are the organisation responsible in the UK for developing Repair Technologies and setting industry standards. Technical experts working in their fully equipped and ultra-modern Repair Technology Centre produce a wide range of vehicle repair data. This repair data is used by the automotive industry to help facilitate the safe and effective repair of modern cars including electrification and driverless vehicle technologies.

- VEHICLE DAMAGE PANEL TECHNICIAN Level 3.
- Block release training for 1 week at a time each quarter in the Thatcham area.
- All travel, accommodation and meals during block release is organised on your behalf and fully funded by us.
