Location: Based mainly in Hereford city centre, with occasional countywide travel..
The Role:
As our Receptionist, you will:
Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional reception service.
Answer telephone enquiries and support patients in accessing the appropriate services.
Register patients and manage appointments using our electronic clinical systems.
Complete a range of administrative and data entry tasks accurately.
Support the team with general office administration.
Assist with marketing activities and social media content where appropriate.
Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and confidential environment for all service users.

Main duties of the job
Confidence in discussing sexual health concerns or information with patients in an approachable, non-judgemental, sex positive manner.
Patient contact, face to face and over the telephone as part of the reception team, booking in patients and entering personal information onto the IT systems. Answering patient queries and signposting in person and on the phone.
Printing labels for clinical staff.
Stocking the administrative supplies and the clinical room supplies
Ordering stock and replenishing clinic rooms when required
Clean and maintain equipment and make ready for use.
To have an awareness of monitoring and maintaining stock levels of designated items.
Keep all storage areas clean, tidy and in good order e.g., fridge temp checks.
Report any faulty or broken equipment to the Clinic Lead and label appropriately.
Assist or participate in departmental and S4H initiatives or audits

The post is primarily based at our sexual health clinic in Hereford city centre. From time to time, you may also be required to provide reception support at outreach clinics across Herefordshire. You will be joining a small, friendly, and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality sexual health services to our local community.

- NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience, ECDL
