Senior Python Developer (AWS | Cloud-Native) | London (Hybrid)

We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a high-impact engagement with a leading enterprise client via Infosys.

This role focuses on building scalable, cloud-native backend systems on AWS, with strong emphasis on architecture, automation, and performance.

Role Overview

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 4–6 months + extensions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django)

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines

• Monitor systems using CloudWatch and optimize performance/cost

• Work in Agile teams with TDD and pair programming

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software/cloud engineering

• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

• Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC)

• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, or AppSync

• Experience with IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, CodePipeline)
