IT Hardware Configuration Technician (Morning Shift)

Urgent : Starting within no more than 1 week.

PLEASE NOTE : CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 5 YEARS WORTH OF UK REFERENCING FOR A BPSS SECURITY BACKGROUND CHECK.

• Location: Rugby (CV23)
• Pay: 12.85 per hour
• Hours: 06:00 - 14:30 (Monday to Friday)
• Status: Full-Time, Temp to Perm. Immediate Start.

We are hiring an urgent, hands-on IT Hardware Build Technician for high-volume configuration of business hardware. This is a fast-paced and physically active role working with computer hardware (some software).

The Work:

• High volume installation/swapping of internal PC components (RAM, SSDs, etc.).
• OS image loading/validation via network deployment.
• Asset tagging, serial number recording and QA checks.
• Other typical configuration duties including labelling.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS):

1. Minimum 6 months paid, professional experience in IT hardware assembly or configuration or someone who has at least a COMPTIA qualification.
2. Strong hardware knowledge of computers.
3. Must be capable of standing for 8 hours and manual handling (up to 15kg).
4. Must commit to a strict 6:00 AM start in Rugby.
