Role: Cloud Engineer

Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid)

Benefits: Up to £55,000 + more

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join a client of ours who operate within the health tech space. As a Cloud Engineer you will be tasked with supporting the changeover of the current environment from a legacy on-premise estate to a cloud environment.

Primary Duties and Tasks

  • Guaranteeing systems are robust, effective, and reliable.
  • Using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings as required to implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Administration of Intune for delivery of a Standard Operating Environment for internal end users.
  • Working alongside other technical departments to maintain existing cloud systems while meeting the required standards.
  • Troubleshooting to recognise and solve issues with cloud solutions.
  • Monitor, analyse and identifying improvements to cloud solutions.
  • Assist Enterprise IT and SecOps with a cloud strategy and developing roadmaps for migration to cloud services.
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders and technical departments across the business to deliver cloud infrastructure support and expertise.

Requirements

  • Extensive practical experience with Windows Server, Linux RHEL/CentOS, VMware, Cloud Technologies, Azure, Microsoft 365 and SAN Storage.
  • Azure and AWS certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling, such as Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation, and ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerisation principles and frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker.
