Mainly remote, working with teams across the Birmingham / Leeds / Manchester region

Due to growth and an increase in change and project work, we are looking for someone to act as the bridge between operational teams and group change functions, helping to translate strategic and operational IT / Software change into practical implementation within the business

The Operational Change Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that change initiatives are successfully implemented, adopted and embedded across the Group's operational business units.

You will be accountable for helping the business realise the intended benefits of change through effective adoption, operational readiness and continuous improvement

This role spans Software Delivery, Change, Product Management and Operations

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting business units in planning, coordinating and embedding operational improvements
  • Helping leadership teams successfully deliver change alongside their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Driving stakeholder engagement, facilitating decision-making, coordinating business readiness and user acceptance testing activities,
  • Supporting implementation planning and ensuring changes become embedded into day-to-day operations.

Your background

  • Previous experience in a similar role in an SME is essential
  • Experience delivering change, transformation or business improvement initiatives within an operational environment.
  • Experience working directly with operational management teams and frontline services.
  • Demonstrable project delivery or structured change management experience.
  • Experience coordinating business readiness, implementation or operational change activities.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings and decision-making sessions.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and technology-enabled change.
  • Experience using formal project delivery or change management methodologies.
  • Continuous improvement experience such as Lean or Six Sigma - Green Belt beneficial
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
