Senior Solutions Developer

Job summary

The Senior Solutions Developer is responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining interfaces, system integration and other technical developments.

This will involve designing, creating, implementing and maintaining IT systems and bespoke solutions across the Trust using a variety of technologies.

Design, develop, test, deploy and support digital solutions (clinical, administrative and information) and systems integration.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead on system, integration and interface development projects.
  • Work as part of a team to develop functional systems using industry standard programming languages and frameworks.
  • Provide Leadership, Technical Support and guidance for the Solution Developers.
  • Provide expert technical support in relation to systems integration and interfacing, medical device integration, systems rationalisation and development.
  • Lead the development and support for bespoke software, interface and integration solutions.
  • System upgrades, planning, implementation and testing.
  • Present proposed and completed developments to product owners, project teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to the Change control process.
  • Develop a good understanding of the needs and requirements of the end users.
  • Responsible for dealing with development, system integration and interface enquiries, problems and requests received via the Service Desk in accordance with the SLA and for liaising with third parties as required.
  • Act as an escalation point within the Solution Development Team for development, system integration and interface enquiries, incidents and problems.
  • Manage the Integration Engine (TIE), Clinical Data Repository and related software, in accordance with requirements of national standards and local requirements.
