Automation Tester
Are you a detail-oriented Automation Tester ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our small, high preforming agile team working on mission-critical applications within our Defence sector, harnessing the power of AWS Cloud to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
As our new Automation Tester, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of systems that support national defence operations. You’ll work within an Agile Testing Framework, contributing to both functional and non-functional testing across development and managed service projects.
This role also offers the opportunity to lead testing efforts, mentor colleagues, and shape best practices in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid working role, open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel to Milton Keynes required—typically once every few months.

To be successful in this role, you must hold current active DV Clearance (Developed Vetting)
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver high-quality, end-to-end testing solutions within Agile environments
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders
- Produce test artefacts in line with industry and organisational standards
- Provide guidance on testing processes and software quality assurance
- Support continuous improvement across testing practices and tools
What you’ll bring:
- Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance
- Strong background in Agile Testing Frameworks; Cypress experience highly desirable
- Proficient with JIRA and Confluence in Agile sprint environments
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team with flexibility to adapt
- Eligible for AC Guest access and Security Clearance
- Skilled in test management, defect handling, and process improvement
- Solid understanding of test automation tools and software quality attributes
- Technically proficient in JavaScript, GitLab, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience across domains such as applications, infrastructure, security, or networks
