Cloud Consumption Analyst

Are you an experienced Cloud Analyst looking for a role in an exciting new function?

We are on the lookout for a skilled cloud professional with experience working on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud to join a growing team with a passion for delivering high levels of service. It will be your responsibility to analyse and report on against the consumption of cloud resources across multiple product and service areas including the financial implications. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual that looking to further develop their skills and experience (Including into personal certifications). Given this position forms part of a new team there is scope to really put your own stamp on the role and make it your own which could include influence on the technical direction moving forward.

This is a hybrid role which will typically see you working out of our office in Gosport two days a week.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide advice on finance impact on operational processes across product/service areas.
  • Provide advice on maintaining scaling up/down of environments in support of business patterns of activity
  • Support the product team capacity management manager in assessment of trends and demands.
  • Support the Request for Change impact assessment process in providing costing for build and run related activity.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to align financial objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Hands on experience within Cloud operating environments (MS Azure & Oracle Cloud)
  • Understanding of other relevant technologies such as: ServiceNow and SolarWinds
  • Experience working in some form of cloud or data analytics role previously
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI

It would be great if you had:

  • ITILv3 or ITILv4 Foundation certification
