DMU Specialist

CIMPA PLM is seeking a highly proactive individual to join us as a DMU (Digital Mock Up) Specialist within our ambitious team.

As a DMU Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of 3D models (DMU).

This is a permanent role, based in Bristol with hybrid working options, 2-3 days on-site.

What you will be doing:

  • Enhance the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) through effective data exchange.
  • Perform quality checks on both DMU data and the surrounding technical environment.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of DMU data.
  • Verify that all data integrations comply with defined business rules.
  • Create, link, and cleanse data within the DMU product structure to maintain high data quality.
  • Manage the transfer of DMU data between partners to support seamless collaboration.

What you’ll bring:

  • Essential knowledge of Python and Ruby.
  • Experience with Catia V5 Design/Integration.
  • Experience in DMU clash detection.
  • Ability to summarize and synthesize information effectively.
  • High level of responsiveness and strong decision-making ability.
  • HND/Eng Degree or equivalent.

It would be great if you had:

  • Knowledge of Assembly Product Structure and Configuration Management.
  • Teamcenter knowledge

Employment Type – Permanent, Full-time.

Salary – £42,000 per annum

Location – Bristol, Hybrid, 2-3 days on-site

We operate a hybrid working principle, so the role could partially be worked from UK home as well as being delivered on Client and CIMPA sites, with regular visits to site as needed. Travel may be required.
