Senior ServiceNow Developer

The role of a Senior ServiceNow Developer at Sopra Steria is integral to the practice delivering high-quality, product-based solutions to a variety of clients. You’ll be involved during the entire project lifecycle—from design and development to configuration, testing, and deployment—translating user stories into tangible outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to sharpen your technical expertise and customer-facing skills, all while working under the mentorship of a lead developer.

While the majority of your time will be spent working from home, there would be ad-hoc travel to our office in London as well as various client sites.
What you'll be doing:- Drive the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions across multiple customer environments, ensuring seamless integration and value delivery.
- Design, prepare, and implement robust test cases using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to make sure platform reliability and performance.
- Enhance ServiceNow instances by applying routine updates and configuration changes tailored to each customer’s unique needs.
- Play a key role in launching new applications and modules, contributing during planning, development, and deployment phases.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to maintain platform consistency, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
- Advise customers with smart, tailored recommendations on tools and process improvements to maximise their ServiceNow investment.
- Experience working in a hands-on ServiceNow development role, with expertise and relevant certification; CSA(Certified System Administrator) and a CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in 1 or more module.
- Examining Now Platform architecture: Analysing the structure and components of the Now Platform to understand how it works and how to best use its features.
- Implementing the Now Platform: Putting the Now Platform into practice, including setting it up and configuring it to meet specific business needs.
- Exploring extended Now Platform capabilities: Investigating more features and functionalities available on the Now Platform to enhance its use and integrate new solutions.
- Participating in ServiceNow Community discussion forums and user and industry groups: Engaging with other ServiceNow users and experts to share knowledge, seek advice, and stay updated on best practices and trends.
- Previous experience working within a ServiceNow Partner.

Internal Recruiter: JenSalary: £50,000 - £75,000 per annum
