Supplier Management Project Lead
Our client is looking for a Supplier Management Project Lead to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supplier management professional to lead the review, implementation, and rollout of the organisation's Supplier Management Policy. Working across the business, you will ensure supplier governance aligns with ISO 27001 standards while embedding robust processes that can be successfully managed by the wider team once implemented.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving change, implementing new frameworks, and leaving a lasting impact on business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review, development, and implementation of the Supplier Management Policy across the business.
Ensure supplier management processes comply with ISO 27001 standards and best practice.
Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to embed new supplier management procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve supplier governance, risk management, and compliance processes.
Develop clear documentation, procedures, and guidance to support the ongoing management of suppliers.
Create a sustainable framework that can be effectively managed by a junior team member following implementation.
Provide project updates and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
About You
Previous experience leading supplier management or supplier governance projects.
Strong understanding of ISO 27001 and its application within supplier management.
Proven experience implementing policies, processes, or governance frameworks across a business.
Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Able to influence, communicate, and drive change across multiple business functions.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing projects independently.
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
