Application Development Manager

On behalf of our client based in Central London, we are looking for an Application Development Manager to join their team. In this role you'll be managing the development & delivery of the businesses applications, CRM & system processes.

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Overseeing and optimising relationships with external vendors who supply Software in order to build and deploy new systems.
• Elicit requirements in order to support with vendor selection and procurement on various project initiatives.
• Providing 2nd & 3rd line support for the company's business applications.
• Working with the Data Protection Officer to support and report on data security policies.
• Maintain good and accurate documentation on business applications.
• Work with wider operations teams and various departments to ensure systems and functionality are documented well, along with ensuring full training and support mechanisms during handovers.
• Keep updated with new technology trends and align and adapt with user's needs, planning updates to systems accordingly.
• Support the rest of the IT team as required.

Skillsets that are important for this one:

• Demonstratable experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Microsoft Certified to either Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate level or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SQL
• Familiar with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Zoho.
• Experience with integration of multiple systems such as (Finance, members portal, email marketing) through web services.
• Proven experience in managing components of IT application development projects and the associated organisation changes
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of troubleshooting of legacy software systems including on a hybrid (Microsoft/Open Source systems) environment
