About the roleWe are looking for a motivated and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our ICT & Digital team, supporting the continued transformation of services across Broadland and South Norfolk Councils.This is an exciting opportunity to help design, develop and maintain digital solutions that improve the experience for our customers while delivering real value to our internal services.You will play a key role in developing modern, integrated systems and contributing to a web-based DevOps toolchain, helping our services work smarter and more efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the development of digital services, including web forms and front-end componentsRedeveloping legacy forms and helping expand our low-code / no-code approachImproving user experience to drive increased customer self-serviceHelping integrate systems using APIs to enable seamless data flow and automationSupporting mobile and integrated solutions, including REST and SOAP APIsMonitoring and maintaining automated processes to ensure reliable system performanceTroubleshooting software issues and contributing to continuous service improvementProducing supporting technical documentationWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone enthusiastic about digital development and keen to grow their DevOps and integration skills.You will have:A qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experienceKnowledge of CI/CD, automation and integration approachesStrong understanding of user-focused designExperience with APIs, web applications or integrationsKnowledge of Agile working practicesUnderstanding of data protection and accessibility standardsClosing Date: 22 JulyInterview Date: w/c 3 AugustWhy Join Us We offer flexible working hours for most office-based roles, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
