Marketing Automation Lead

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Lead to create, develop and optimise automated customer communications that improve customer experience and drive digital adoption.

You'll take end-to-end ownership of Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, delivering personalised, triggered and multi-channel communications that support business objectives and improve customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of marketing automation campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Design and build personalised, triggered customer journeys and communications.

  • Develop and maintain HTML email content and templates.

  • Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous optimisation.

  • Partner with Digital and wider business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused communications.

  • Support audience segmentation, testing and conversion rate optimisation activity.

  • Drive digital adoption, including MyAccount and eBilling growth.

  • Deliver accurate reporting through tools including Power BI and Looker Studio.

About You

  • Highly experienced in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, particularly email automation.

  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end email campaigns and customer journeys.

  • Strong HTML email development skills.

  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools to measure and improve campaign performance.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms (such as Optimizely) and SQL would be advantageous.

  • Salesforce Trailhead certification/experience desirable.

  • Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Manager-level capability with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
