Senior Engagement Manager (Cybersecurity - Architecture/Business Management)

We’re partnered with a high-growth cybersecurity and AI safety company, looking to hire an Engagement Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of strategically important global partnerships.

This role combines cybersecurity expertise with commercial ownership. You’ll work closely with major international partners to ensure complex security initiatives are delivered effectively, aligned to their priorities, and driving measurable outcomes.

Working across stakeholders in the UK, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders, bridging the gap between deep technical delivery and business-critical security objectives.

Company Culture:

  • Remote-first, with teams across the UK, and US
  • Low-ego, high-trust environment with real ownership from day one
  • Fast-paced and collaborative, without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Strong focus on technical curiosity, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Mission-driven, working on real-world cybersecurity and AI safety challenges
  • Open, straightforward communication where ideas matter more than hierarchy

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary with an 80/20 base to bonus split
  • Equity / stock options
  • Comprehensive benefits, including private healthcare and mental health support

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the health, retention, and growth of a portfolio of global security partnerships
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building long-term relationships
  • Lead regular reviews, feedback cycles, and impact assessments
  • Translate complex cybersecurity work into clear, outcome-driven value for clients
  • Identify and manage delivery, technical, and relationship risks early
  • Spot opportunities to expand security capabilities and deepen partnerships
  • Work closely with engineering, threat research, and product teams to align delivery

What We’re Looking For:

Cybersecurity Background (Core Requirement)

  • Experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, malware, or online safety
  • Strong understanding of modern threat landscapes and attacker behaviour
  • Comfortable engaging with security researchers, engineers, and technical teams

Technical & Commercial Awareness

  • Able to understand and challenge complex technical work
  • Comfortable translating technical detail into business context and outcomes

Client & Stakeholder Skills

  • Experience working closely with customers in a strategic or delivery-focused role
  • Confident managing senior stakeholders and navigating complex environments

Collaboration & Ownership

  • Able to work across teams without direct authority
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment
  • If this sounds like your kind of role, feel free to reach out for a confidential chat.
