Application Development Project Manager
This is a 12-Month FTC, requiring 3 days p/w on-site in London.
Overview:
- Sparta Global are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent application development projects within a fast-paced technology environment.
- This role requires someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and confident managing several workstreams simultaneously while coordinating technical teams and stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 4-5 concurrent application development projects simultaneously
- Lead project delivery from initiation through to deployment and handover
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams including developers, QA, business analysts, and third-party suppliers
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, and delivery documentation
- Track project milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery governance where required
- Manage stakeholder communication across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans proactively
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards
- Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and governance standards
Required Experience:
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT or software development projects
- Strong understanding of application development lifecycles and delivery methodologies
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience producing project reporting, delivery plans, and governance documentation
- Confident working with both technical and business teams
