We are looking for entry-level DevOps Engineers for a project based in Edinburgh.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting cloud-based infrastructure (primarily AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Assisting with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Writing and maintaining scripts for automation (e.g. Bash, Python)
- Monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and improving reliability
- Working with developers to streamline build and release processes
- Contributing to documentation and improving internal tooling
Basic Skillset (Must-Have)
- Basic understanding of Linux and command line usage
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of version control (Git)
- Awareness of cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to Docker or containerisation concepts
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Any exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
