Junior Service Now Engineer ( 12 month FTC )

The Sparta Institute trains individuals with the attitude, aptitude, and potential to be a successful Spartan consultant and deploys them to work on client sites, with the opportunity to convert to permanent employees after an agreed period.
- Developing and configuring ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.) to meet business requirements.
- Automating workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Incident, problem, and change management integration to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Collaborating with IT, business stakeholders, and project teams to support new initiatives and system enhancements.
- Ensuring compliance, data integrity, and security best practices are maintained within ServiceNow platforms.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and providing end-user training and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates are generally expected to have:
- Proficiency with ServiceNow modules, scripting (JavaScript), and integration technologies.
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT operations, or HR workflows depending on the module focus.
- Understanding of ITIL practices and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in implementing configurations and system updates.
- Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist are often preferred.
