Network Engineer
Role Title: Network Engineer
Employment Type: 12 month FTC with likely permanent offer after
Working Arrangement: 5 Days p/w onsite in Farnborough
We are looking for candidates with live IT environment experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, NOC, SOC, or Telecoms.
Role Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network issues independently
- Perform standard switch, router and firewall configurations
- Implement changes following change management processes
- Deploy network hardware and perform initial configuration
- Perform patching, upgrades and firmware updates
- Interpret monitoring alerts and take appropriate action
- Perform root cause analysis for common incidents
- Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
- Follow security standards and configuration baselines and apply standard firewall rules and access controls
- Supply vulnerability remediation activities
