We invest in recruiting high-calibre graduates and build them into high-performing consultants through our intensive training boot-camps within our nationwide Sparta Global Academies, in the areas of Software Development, Manual Testing, Test Automation, SDET, DevOps, Business Analysis and Project Management, who work for our clients on-site.
Sparta Global raised investment for a 2nd time from private equity house Inflexion in October 2020 to support continued growth and expansion of the company, including the opening of new offices globally.
The Operations & People Team
Key to our success and there to support our ambitious growth plans is the Operations & People function. The team is headed by the Chief People & Compliance Officer and supported by the HR, Engagement, Compliance, Resourcing and ED&I.
As a Technical Sourcer, you will report into the Resource Manager, work closely alongside resourcing and account managers to find , engage and retain talent. You act as the point of contact for all experienced hiring activities both live and building future pools . The technical sourcer your main responsibility is to ensure current talent needs and future are available .
You will hold considerable experience working within an Internal recruitment and/or resourcing function within an IT Consulting or Professional Services organisation. You will hold primary responsibility for ensuring accuracy of internal pools. You will create talent pools and communities while also serving live opportunities, engaging experienced talent in the Sparta brand and providing the quality talent for our clients.
Your responsibilities - Spartan RESOURCING
- Manage experienced hire resource requests raised by our sales department or Delivery department.
- Managing the resourcing process from search and selection through to offer and acceptance.
- Preparing consultants by briefing Spartans on assignment details, arranging non-technical/technical interviews with potential candidates and arranging further technical chats where necessary.
- The co-ordination and maintenance of Spartan profile database on LinkedIn and reviewing, updating were necessary.
- Work with the sales team to ensure current and future needs are met
- Build pools by tech stack on LinkedIn, regular engage and retain your pools
- Use information from supply and demand meetings to judge how to best allocate searching time
- Conduct headhunting, sell Sparta and conduct initial screening to check notice, RTW e.t.c
- Lead internal assessments to ensure they are technically assessed before going to the client
- Ensure data integrity by ensuring those sent to open opportunity are added to our CRM.
- Attend kick off and update calls on live opportunities, escalate blockers when needed.
- Obtain regular feedback from account managers, to identify quality of talent provided and areas of improvement needed
- Keep up to date with tech trends and use this to identify future ops
