About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and selling a portfolio of IT services, telecommunications solutions, managed print services, and document management solutions to businesses across a range of sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and delivering technology solutions that improve business efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting (telesales and door knocking), networking, social media and referrals.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM.
• Identify customer challenges and recommend appropriate IT, telecoms and document management solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Negotiate contracts and successfully close sales opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with decision makers including Managing Directors, IT Managers, Finance Directors and Operations Managers.
• Work closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B technology sales.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling one or more of the following:
o IT Managed Services
o Telecommunications
o Managed Print Services
o Document Management Solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
