Network Engineer

Network Engineer (SC cleared) - £350/day Inside IR35 - 3 months Contract - Stevenage (Onsite) - SCC Flex Contract

We are looking for an SC Cleared Network Engineer with Cisco telephony and videoconferencing expertise who enjoys hands-on operational support and project work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Your responsibilities as the Network Engineer:

• Resolve Level 2 and Level 3 telephony and videoconferencing-oriented incidents.
• Respond to specific hardware and application service requests.
• Participate in telephony and videoconferencing projects, including upgrades and enhancements.
• Support and collaborate with operations teams on an ad hoc basis.
• Ensure stable, secure and high-quality voice and video services across the estate.
• Work onsite in Stevenage, engaging closely with technical and business stakeholders.

As a successful Network Engineer, you will have:

• Active SC Clearance
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco VoIP technologies including CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber and IP Phones.
• Strong experience with Cisco SBS, VG2xx, and Cisco CMS/Cisco video conferencing solutions (endpoints, TMS, Pexip, etc.).
• A Cisco certification or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
• Good working knowledge of VMware Suite and vSAN.
• Experience using Kurmi for user and service management.
• Solid understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols, as well as WAN/LAN networking and security principles.
• Excellent people skills with a team-player mindset; adaptable, rigorous and naturally curious.
• Proven experience working as a Network Engineer in enterprise or complex IT environments.
