SC & NPPV3 Cleared Technical Architect
Technical Architect (SC & NPPV3 cleared) - 6 Month Contract - £550/day Inside IR35 - South West England (Hybrid/Occasional visits) - SCC Flex Contract
We are seeking an Technical Architect with active SC & NPPV3 to support an infrastructure transformation programme across storage and virtualisation environments in a secure, enterprise setting.
Your responsibilities as the Technical Architect:
- Scope, design and implement a replacement storage solution.
- Expand backup scope to include additional platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- Lead the design and implementation of a VMware replacement solution.
- Gather technical requirements, analyse existing environments, and produce high-quality solution designs.
- Lead technical planning and manage infrastructure change across complex systems.
- Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, including onsite presence when required.
As a successful Technical Architect, you will have:
- Active SC and NPPV3 clearance.
- Strong expertise in virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Experience with Microsoft O365 and Azure Cloud Services.
- Demonstrable expertise in storage solutions design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Active Directory.
- Proven experience producing solution designs and low-level technical documentation.
- Strong technical planning, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience delivering infrastructure implementations end-to-end.
