Security Analyst

Security Rapid7 ISO Consultant - £500 per day via Umbrella - 6-month contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We're looking for a an experienced Rapid7 ISO Consultant to support our customer's cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead the integration and optimisation of Rapid7 solutions within our ISO 27001 framework - helping to strengthen our customer's vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response capabilities.

Your responsibilities as the Security Rapid7 ISO Consultant:

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of Rapid7 InsightVM, InsightIDR, and InsightConnect.
• Align Rapid7 implementations with ISO 27001 controls, focusing on risk management, asset inventory, and incident response.
• Conduct gap analyses and develop remediation plans to support ISO compliance.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for scanning, alerting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal security teams.
• Support audit preparation and evidence gathering for ISO 27001 certification or surveillance audits.

As a successful Security Rapid7 ISO Consultant, you will have:

• Proven experience implementing and managing Rapid7 solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and control frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in vulnerability management, SIEM, and automation workflows.
• Ability to interpret scan results and translate findings into actionable remediation plans.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
