Solution Architect (Guidewire)

Solution Architect (Guidewire) - £800/day via Umbrella - 6-month Contract - Remote/Hybrid - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Solution Architect to shape and govern the end-to-end architecture for a Guidewire platform. You'll define scalable and secure architectures across the Guidewire suite, support complex integrations, and guide delivery teams through a major insurance transformation programme.

Your responsibilities as the Solution Architect (Guidewire):

• Define target architectures for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
• Lead end-to-end design for new features, enhancements, and integrations
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and the transformation roadmap
• Architect integrations with CRM, underwriting, finance systems
• Provide governance across development streams and vendor partners
• Act as the Guidewire SME for IT and business stakeholders
• Ensure designs meet security, performance, and compliance standards
• Support planning, estimation, and design decision-making across delivery phases

As a successful Solution Architect (Guidewire), you will have:

• Extensive architecture experience across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite
• Proven background delivering complex multi-system integrations
• Experience in large-scale insurance transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder engagement across IT and business leadership
• Hands-on knowledge of GOSU, APIs, Guidewire configuration, and cloud deployment
• Understanding of modern architecture patterns (microservices, API-first, event-driven)
