Vendor Manager

Vendor Manager - £170/day via Umbrella (Temporary Position) - 6 months Contract - Bracknell/London (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Manager to join SCC on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused Vendor Manager to develop strategic technology partnerships, drive growth, and maximise value across our vendor ecosystem.

Your responsibilities as the Vendor Manager:

• Manage relationships with key software vendors and act as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate on go-to-market plans and growth initiatives.
• Drive vendor engagement and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain vendor certifications and specialisations.
• Support strategic partnerships, marketplace initiatives, and services ecosystems.
• Secure vendor funding, incentives, and resources.
• Work closely with distribution partners to maximise value and optimise costs.

As a successful Vendor Manager, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Vendor Manager, Partner Manager, or similar role within the technology sector.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing vendor performance and funding.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
• Knowledge of software and technology vendors.
• Experience within data protection, cyber resilience, backup & recovery, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise virtualisation is desirable.
