Power BI Reporting Developer – Join Our Data Journey at Specsavers

At Specsavers, we’re on a mission to change lives through better sight and hearing. We believe in delivering outstanding value, being loved by every customer, and creating a workplace where every colleague feels proud to belong. And as we grow, data is at the heart of that transformation.

We’re building a future where data drives decisions and empowers everyone whether you’re a tech expert or just curious. Over the past few years, we’ve created a robust data platform and a thriving community of analysts, engineers, and data scientists. Now, we’re looking for a Power BI Reporting Developer to help us take things to the next level.

In this role you’ll be the go-to person for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll modernise our reporting processes, moving data flows through Databricks into Power BI, and craft dashboards that make decision making effortless. Accuracy and quality will be your mantra, ensuring every report is reliable and impactful. You’ll also lend your expertise to legacy Excel reporting while steering us toward automated, dynamic solutions.

Collaboration is key here. You’ll work closely with Commercial Finance, leadership teams, and store partners, building strong relationships and making sure insights land where they matter most. As a champion for Power BI, you’ll share your knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to our vibrant data community.

What will you bring? A solid understanding of data analytics, hands-on Power BI experience (including DAX and Power Query), and familiarity with Azure or Databricks. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and if you can make complex ideas simple for non-technical audiences, even better. Most importantly, you’ll have a passion for learning, problem-solving, and delivering value.

Ready to make an impact with data? Join us and help shape the future of Specsavers.
