Engineering Delivery Coordinator
PMO Analyst - Software Engineering
PMO | Engineering Delivery Coordinator
Circa £45,000 | Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite in Cosham, near Portsmouth
Help a growing SaaS business bring clarity to its engineering delivery. You'll turn Jira data into useful insight, flag risks and dependencies, and give engineering leaders a clear view of progress, priorities and team capacity. Working across Software Engineering, Product and Architecture, you'll help teams keep initiatives moving and make better-informed delivery decisions.
We're partnering with an established UK software company looking for someone who enjoys joining the dots, asking thoughtful questions and making complex information easy to understand.
You'll work closely with engineering leadership and have the opportunity to shape how delivery is tracked, reported and improved. Engineering managers retain ownership of their teams and delivery commitments; your contribution will be making sure they have reliable information, clear actions and early visibility of issues.
What you'll get involved in
- Keep Jira initiatives, dependencies and milestones accurate, with clear ownership and meaningful updates.
- Create dashboards and reporting that explain what's progressing, what's drifting and where decisions are needed.
- Bring together capacity and demand information to highlight competing priorities and resource constraints.
- Coordinate cross-team actions and rollouts, following up blockers and improving processes as you go.
What you'll bring
- Experience as a PMO Analyst, Delivery Analyst or Project Coordinator within a software or technology environment.
- Strong Jira and Excel skills, with experience turning delivery data into practical recommendations.
- An understanding of Agile working and experience tracking risks, dependencies, actions and team capacity.
- A collaborative, confident approach: comfortable challenging unclear updates, asking questions and keeping people engaged without direct authority.
Experience with Confluence, Jira Advanced Roadmaps or portfolio-planning tools would be useful, but your judgement and ability to build relationships will matter most.
You'll join a growing software business where your work will be visible and your ideas can help shape how engineering operates. There's scope to broaden your experience across teams, work on significant initiatives and develop your understanding of software delivery through close collaboration with engineering leaders.
The role offers a salary of circa £45,000, hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in Cosham, and opportunities to get involved in volunteering and community activities.
