Senior IT Operations Manager - Hampshire

A Senior IT Operations Manager opportunity for a scale-up business in Hampshire. The Senior IT Manager will provide leadership and guidance on IT strategy and leadership of the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity functions in a fast paced, growing business.

The company have grown in recent years and have range of IT projects planned to help facilitate future growth. This role reports to the IT Director and is expected to progress into a 'Head of IT' position in the medium-term so candidates with this ambition are welcomed.

The role is mostly office based, commutable from Southampton, Bournemouth, Basingstoke areas

Core responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an effective IT strategy, reporting to the senior management team
• Manage a small IT team and remain hands-on in day-to-day issues, where required
• Play a key role is improving Cybersecurity awareness and processes
• Support future proofing and planning of scalable infrastructure
• Effectively manage the IT Systems and Networks to ensure maximum efficiency

Essential experience:

• Currently in a senior IT management role with experience of leading a team
• Able to demonstrate working in a fast-paced environment; start up, scale up or similar
• System and Infrastructure support and upgrades (ERP, Networking, etc)
• Microsoft based technical knowledge, including Dynamics 365, O365, Azure or similar
• Excellent communicator, able to liaise with senior stakeholders
