Jira Platform & Workflow Lead
Jira Platform & Workflow Lead required by a major financial services organisation that is building a brand-new in-house Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform following the decommissioning of a previously outsourced solution.
This is a highly technical, platform-focused role centred around Jira workflow development, configuration, automation and platform evolution.
The first module has already been built, and they are now looking for a Jira Platform & Workflow Lead to help drive the next phase of development through workflow tooling, module development, systems integration and continuous platform enhancement.
Explicit Jira GRC experience is not a prerequisite for the role. Any prior knowledge would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Building and enhancing Jira workflows and modules
- Developing scalable process automation
- Linking workflows across risks, controls, incidents and actions
- Configuring and improving operational tooling
- Supporting dashboards, structured reporting and data flows
- Driving platform usability and continuous improvement
- Working closely with stakeholders to translate business processes into technical workflows
Key experience
- Strong Jira administration and configuration expertise
- Experience building workflows, automation and linked modules
- A technical platform engineering / tooling mindset
- Experience configuring structured operational processes
- Ability to improve and scale workflow-driven systems
- Ideally some exposure to ServiceNow or similar enterprise tooling
This is not a traditional risk or compliance role. It is a build, configuration and workflow position focused on developing and enhancing an enterprise Jira-based platform used to support governance, risk and operational processes.
