Security AI Consultant/CISO Advisory

Spencer Rose is urgently seeking a Security AI Consultant/CISO Advisory to join our Financial Services client in Yorkshire for a 6+month contract. £465-500 per day INSIDE IR35. ASAP Start. 3 days a week onsite. Strong likelihood of extension.

The role purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical CISO Lead to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity architecture and engineering with a focus on AI. This role will provide deep technical leadership, ensure robust protection of information assets while enabling business innovation and operational excellence.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture, technical engineering, and platform security within large, complex organisations.
• Relevant professional certifications (eg, CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, AWS/Azure Security).
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (eg, NIST, ISO 27001), cloud and on-premises security, and secure software development practices.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing security controls and solutions at scale.
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as network security, identity management, cryptography, and automation.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Willingness to travel as required
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
