Remote (UK-based | US market focus)
A fast-growing influencer marketing agency focused on AI and tech brands is hiring a Client Acquisition Director to own and scale their new business function.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll build the acquisition engine from scratch, drive outbound strategy, and lead deals with some of the most exciting AI companies globally.
The role
- Own and build the end-to-end client acquisition strategy across outbound, inbound and partnerships
- Lead high-value deals from first touch through to close
- Develop and optimise outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn and modern sales tools
- Define ICP, messaging and go-to-market approach for US-based AI clients
- Manage and scale pipeline performance and conversion
- Build and lead a small sales team (SDRs / AEs) as the function grows
- Work closely with internal teams on proposals, pitches and renewals
Requirements
- 4+ years in B2B client acquisition (agency experience preferred)
- Experience targeting or selling into the US market
- Proven track record closing mid–high value deals
- Strong outbound and sales systems experience (e.g. Apollo, Clay, Smartlead)
- Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, scale-up environment
