Contract - Junior Digital Designer

Position: Temporary

Location: Hybrid, London

Rate: £200 per day

Start Date: 23rd February

We are looking for a Junior Creative Digital Designer to join a team in London and support the growth of our online business. You will act s the bridge between creative design and commercial results, helping to elevate the brand's online presence across websites, social media, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain homepage, campaign landing pages, and seasonal updates to ensure the website remains fresh, relevant, and engaging.
• Create Business As Usual (BAU) emails that capture brand tone and drive customer retention.
• Develop visual content and short-form video assets for social commerce.
• Take full ownership of uploading and managing website assets within Shopify.
• Ensure all designs are mobile-first, user-friendly, and optimized for conversion, following brand guidelines.
• Support marketing campaigns from concept to execution, maintaining a cohesive brand experience across web, email, and social.
• Ensure all imagery is optimized for fast loading, SEO, and accessibility.
• Work closely with eCommerce, digital marketing, and brand teams to improve site performance and user journey.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Firm understanding of HTML/CSS for customizing website and email templates.
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify.
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar email platforms.
• Proven experience creating short-form video content optimized for social media.
• Solid grasp of responsive design principles.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or fashion environment is desirable.
• Proficient in Google Workspace for asset organization and collaboration.
• Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to stay current with digital, social, and AI-powered design tools.

Beneficial

• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid coding.
