FP&A & Transformation Lead
FP&A & Transformation Manager – Retail Sector - London – 4 day week (3 days in office) - £60,000
A high-growth, PE-backed global consumer brand in London is hiring a commercially-minded FP&A & Finance Transformation Manager. Moving away from SAP toward a modern, AI-enabled finance stack, this role will rebuild reporting structures and data flows to support scaling to £100m+ and a planned exit.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems & Data Architecture: Lead the transition away from SAP, redesigning General Ledger frameworks, chart of accounts, and product hierarchies.
- Financial Modelling & FP&A: Build scalable, automated forecasting and reporting models across SKUs, sales channels, and international markets.
- AI & Workflow Automation: Integrate practical AI tools and modern tech to automate manual reporting, data cleansing, and reconciliations.
- Commercial Insight: Deliver profitability analysis and actionable performance tracking to support executive decision-making.
- Exit Readiness: Establish clean, audit-ready financial data and KPI structures to support investor requirements and long-term strategic growth.
Key Requirements
- Transformation & FP&A Background: Proven track record in commercial finance, modelling, and systems redesign within consumer or product-led sectors.
- Systems Migration Experience: Hands-on experience with ERP transitions
- Advanced Technical Skills: High proficiency in Excel alongside experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, SQL).
- AI Knowledge: Practical passion and working knowledge for implementing AI/automation tools in finance workflows.
- Agile Mindset: Adaptable, highly organised, and comfortable leading change in a creative, fast-moving environment.
