Senior Product Manager - (AdTech) The Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Product Manager with deep programmatic advertising expertise to lead the development of a next-generation meta DSP platform. This senior position requires exceptional technical depth, strong data-driven decision-making, and the proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Product Vision & Strategy
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a unified advertising platform.

  • Define how advertising and audience data flows through the platform to maximize targeting accuracy and campaign effectiveness.

  • Ensure alignment between technical capabilities and commercial goals, driving measurable partner value.

  • Build business cases, requirements, and ROI models to prioritize product investments.

Technical Product Management
  • Oversee integration and optimization of multiple DSPs, SSPs, and ad-serving technologies.

  • Define technical requirements for real-time bidding systems handling billions of daily requests.

  • Lead API product management across the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem.

  • Design data pipelines and architecture for cross-platform campaign analytics.

  • Ensure sub-100ms response times while maintaining 99.9% platform reliability.

Data & Compliance
  • Implement comprehensive measurement frameworks for attribution and campaign effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, IAB frameworks).

  • Build privacy-first solutions that balance personalization with consumer protection.

  • Create data models supporting both real-time decisioning and historical analysis.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Gather and prioritize requirements across Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Ad Operations teams.

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and integration partners.

  • Provide stakeholders with clear, regular updates on platform performance and roadmap progress.

  • Serve as a technical expert in client engagements and strategic partner discussions.

Required Experience & Skills Essential Requirements
  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years focused on programmatic advertising.

  • Deep technical knowledge of:

    • Programmatic ecosystem: DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDPs, and ad servers

    • Real-time bidding protocols, header bidding, and auction dynamics

    • API design, data pipelines, and system integrations

    • Attribution methodologies and cross-device identity solutions

Technical Platform Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with major DSP platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Xandr).

  • Integration experience across AdTech/MarTech stacks.

  • Understanding of VAST/VPAID, OpenRTB, and creative specifications.

  • Knowledge of viewability, brand safety, and fraud detection systems.

Data & Analytics Proficiency
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis.

  • Experience with big data technologies and real-time processing.

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Proven ability to derive insights from data to inform product strategy.

Strategic & Consulting Skills
  • Consulting experience highly valued (management consulting or AdTech consultancy preferred).

  • Ability to structure complex problems and drive data-backed recommendations.

  • Track record of translating technical concepts into business value.

  • Experience with market analysis and competitive intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-velocity digital environments (e.g., media, gaming, or real-time platforms).

  • Knowledge of supply path optimization and transparency initiatives.

  • Understanding of identity solutions and cookieless targeting.

  • Experience with programmatic guaranteed and PMP workflows.

What Success Looks Like
  • 30 Days: Complete platform audit and identify key optimization opportunities.

  • 90 Days: Deliver a major integration improving platform performance and commercial outcomes.

  • 6 Months: Launch advanced targeting capabilities driving measurable partner value.

  • 1 Year: Achieve industry-leading campaign effectiveness metrics.
