Senior Project Manager - Consumer Engagement

Contract: 12 October 2026 - 31 March 2027
Location: London / Hybrid
Rate: £400-430 per day Inside IR35

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-profile global entertainment and technology brand on a contract basis.

This is a senior delivery role, working across complex, high-impact consumer engagement projects with multiple stakeholders, teams and workstreams. You'll take ownership from initial scoping and planning through to delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to a high standard.

The Role

You'll lead large-scale, cross-functional projects, working closely with teams across areas such as marketing, product, technology and operations.

You'll be responsible for bringing structure and clarity to complex projects, managing senior stakeholders and making sure everyone is aligned around objectives, timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.

This is a role for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, spotting potential issues before they become problems and confidently challenging when something needs to change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream projects and programmes.
  • Own senior stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted partner and strategic advisor.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust project plans, governance, reporting and risk management.
  • Lead project kick-offs, status meetings and key stakeholder reviews.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies and issues.
  • Manage budgets, financial tracking and change requests where required.
  • Select and adapt appropriate project management methodologies to suit each project.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure the right resources are available at the right time.
  • Create an environment where teams can collaborate effectively and take ownership.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to more junior project managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Share learnings and best practice to help continuously improve the wider project management function.

About You

We're looking for someone with 5-8 years' project management experience, ideally gained within a client-side, brand-side, agency or similarly complex environment.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial tracking and project profitability.
  • A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools such as Jira, Wrike, Asana, Trello or MS Project.
  • Experience working across digital, technology, marketing or consumer-facing projects.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and provide constructive advice to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and solve problems before they escalate.
  • A genuine interest in digital trends, technology and improving how projects are delivered.

Why This Role?

This is a great opportunity to work on high-profile, complex consumer-facing projects for a globally recognised brand, partnering with talented teams across marketing, technology, product and operations.

You'll have genuine ownership of delivery, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence both individual projects and wider project management practices.
